Father's Daughter

Father's Daughter survives a busy Christmas season - Begins work on new record

We've just come off our busiest Christmas schedule ever! We were again privileged to take part in Calvin Dyck's Songs, Strings & Steps' "Heart of Christmas" program, which was squeezed between concerts at Yarrow MB Church and Christmas Eve at Abbotsford Pentecostal Assembly.  Topping off our year was a return to Wayne Dyck's New Year's extravaganza, which featured the Pfeiffers, Shane & Angela Wiebe, Young Street Vocal Band, the Bugg Collection, and, of course, Father's Daughter!

In the "busyness" of the season, it is easy to forget the things that matter most in our lives - our faith, family and friends.  We trust that all of you have found the time to contemplate the profound message of Christmas, the story of the birth of Jesus, God in human form come to redeem a lost world He so loves!  It is our hope that the New Year brings you much health, happiness and a deeper understanding of God's goodness and grace in your life.

Father's Daughter is preparing to record a new project with producer, Barry Weeks, in Nashville, Tennessee at the end of January.  We are excited to work with Barry and expect our new CD to be available for purchase by the middle of spring.

We're also looking forward to a "once in a lifetime" opportunity to witness the 2010 Vancouver/Whistler Winter Olympics.  It's not often that the largest international event takes place right in your home town!

As always, we are so grateful to those of you who love and support gospel music.  May the songs we share continue to bless all of you as you seek comfort, encouragement and strength in your walk of faith.
