Father's Daughter

TOUR AND SUMMER SINGIN'...

Hi everyone!

Our summer has snuck up on us, yet we're enjoying all the new and familiar experiences of summer jamborees and conventions.  During the second and third week of June, Father's Daughter went on a 12 day tour throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan...talk about never-ending roads and gophers popping up out of nowhere!  The tour started at the Alberta Beach Gospel Sing, a first time opportunity for us. We sang with High Valley, Potter's Clay and Liberty Quartet for the weekend. Next we headed to churches in Olds and Killam where we met old friends and made new ones - ask Rachel about the marriage proposals!  The Frenchman River Gospel Jamboree was our final destination. We were blessed with the love and hospitality we received during our time in the prairies!

The fun continued as we headed over to Alberta again, this time to sing at the Canadian Gospel Music Celebration - an event that first spurred on our love for gospel music.  Years ago, we travelled to the convention as fans of the Young Street Vocal Band, since our dad played keys for them.  Little did we know that someday we would be singing there together as a family!

Our summer in Alberta wound up with a first time visit to the Harmattan Gospel Music Sing.  This was a chance to share our music with a new group of Southern Gospel fans, as well as allow us to re-acquaint ourselves with friends such as the Perrys, Hunters, Triumphant Quartet, Sweet Presence, Canada's Double Portion, Reggie Sadler Family and Freedom Singers.

We'll update you as the summer winds up.  In the meantime, thanks to all of you who pray for our ministry and support our family; it means more to us than you know!!

Blessings,

Father's Daughter
